| Our
cottages are winterized with propane heat. If you just want
to relax and get away, enjoy all of winter's beauty from the
inside of your warm and cozy cabin.
If you
want to enjoy the "great white north" we have lots
to do. We have a well-maintained skating rink and hockey nets
on the lake for your use. Bring your own cross-country skies
or snowshoes and travel the lake at your own pace.
For the
fishermen, we rent icehuts equipped with propane heaters,
fishing gear and minnows. Transportation is provided to and
from the huts. The cost is $20.00 per person with a minimum
2 person charge plus GST. One dozen minnows per 2 persons.
Do we
know snowmibiling!? Dave and Nancy are both very involved
in the Bonfield Snowmobile Club and volunteer about 200 hours
of works. Dave is a groomer operator, trail warden and Driver
Training Instructor and Nancy is the club treasurer. We sell
trail passes in the office. We have excellent trails and are
a part of the Bonfield Snowmobile Club trail system and are
located right on BF201. The trails are unsurpassed for beauty.
There are numerous rest stops providing everything you need
along the way. All Near North snowmobile clubs are members
of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.
Leave
your cabin, gas up here with our fuel and head out for a wonderful
day on the trails. No snowmobile! No Problem! We rent snowmobiles.
Our snowmobiles come equipped with electric start, electric
hand and thumb warmers, reverse, two-up seats and back rests.
Come and enjoy yourself in our "winter wonderland"!
